Malaysia Not Win Lucky
Malaysia coach Ong Kim Swee said that the victory of foster children at the SEA Games 2011 is the result of hard work and not just a fortune.
Compete at the Bung Karno Main Stadium, the team of young Malayan tiger was able to beat hosts Indonesia with the score 5-4 and the gold medal.
The results achieved by this is the second consecutive accomplishment achieved by Malaysia. At the 2009 SEA Games in Laos, Malaya Young Tigers team is also to be the best.
“It’s all hard work. All parties ranging from the player until the federation has a high dedication to retain the title,” said Ong Kim Swee in a press conference after the match.
According to him, the results achieved in the SEA Games 2011 is a result of his hard work in building the team. Material existing players are the best. Even some players have joined the senior team at AFF Cup 2010.
In addition to the hard work of all parties, he said, mentally players into the capital in the final to win the match must end with penalties.
“We had got stuck, and even harassed in the street. But all the players to stay calm. It shows a strong mental. As a result we were able to win games,” he asserted.
