Justin Bieber, artist of the year in the AMA
The young Canadian Justin Bieber today became the protagonist of the American Music Awards (AMA) to achieve the four awards for which he aspired, including entertainer of the year.
Bieber, 16, also won the awards for best album of pop / rock (“My World”), the favorite male artist and new artist, so thus became the youngest artist to win one of these awards, which were distributed at the Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles (California).
“I can not stop smiling, this is great,” said Bieber. “I really do not know how is this possible because I’ve been singing songs from Eminem and Usher three years is my mentor. So this is something big,” he said, referring to some of its competitors.
Meanwhile Usher got the awards for best album of soul / R & B, “Raymond Vs. Raymond” and Best R & B artist
Shakira also won the award for favorite Latin music artist.
The Black Eyed Peas won the award for best group, Taylor Swift and Brad Paisley took the best artists in country, Rihanna won the best artist of soul / R & B, and Lady Antebellum did the same with the best group of country.
